On Thursday, June 8th the Dekker Centre for the Performing Arts played host to Canadian country and blues performer Crystal Shawanda during her North Battleford stop on her current tour. A born performer, Crystal has been gracing the stage since the age of six. Getting her start in country, Crystal became the first Native American performer to score a top 20 hit on the country charts after the release of her first studio album. Later embracing her lifelong love of blues music, she currently has four studio albums under her belt.

Bralin Technology Solutions had the honor of sponsoring the June 8th performance and supporting the Dekker Centre’s ongoing efforts to bring world-class acts to the Battlefords. Our team could not have been more excited to have had the opportunity to contribute to this event and do our part to bring a little excitement to the local community – especially when it means we get to support fantastic Canadian talent.

Those of us in attendance had an incredible time – Crystal Shawanda put on an amazing show! Her big voice and passionate fans certainly made for a night to remember.
