For more than 40 years the North Battleford Civic Centre has been home to junior hockey.  The North Stars franchise has one SJHL championship win in team history and one Anavet Cup.

The North Stars pride themselves on developing hockey players and community members to move them on successfully to the next chapters in their lives. Many members of the alumni have gone on to have lengthy hockey careers at many different levels.
