Andrew and Chantale Sutherland were off to Las Vegas this month to attend the Navigate 2019 Conference on behalf of Bralin. This event took place at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on October 15 & 16. The two day conference included a number of presentations, workshops, breakout sessions and keynote addresses to help Managed Service Providers (MSPs) such as Bralin to better serve our clients.
A main focus of Navigate 2019 was cybersecurity. During his opening keynote, Continuum CEO Michael George emphasized that Cybersecurity has become a pandemic crisis for SMBs. He discussed the very real threat of unanticipated disruption, and why IT professionals (such as Bralin) need to plan for the unexpected. His opening remarks set the stage for the remainder of the conference, where MSPs were educated to successfully approach cybersecurity to better protect their clients and themselves.
Andrew said the following about his experience at Navigate 2019:
“The highlight I took away from Navigate 2019 was that cybersecurity is a significant and real threat to all small and midsize businesses, including Bralin ourselves. With the partnerships that Bralin is making with cybersecurity experts, we are becoming more and more equipped to prevent, remediate and recover when cybersecurity threats arise and are ready and willing to assist our clients to do the same.”
Andrew has come back to the office ready to share with the rest of us what he has learned. In turn our technical team can put the information and training into practice to continue giving our clients the best service and security possible!
